Founded in 2015, Flat Tire Co. is a woman rider-owned service center and suspension hub built for people who care about how their bike actually feels. We believe great riding starts with great service — and that bikes exist to support that, not the other way around. We’re passionate about dirt, gravel, mountain, adventure, pavement — and building confident riders across every surface

What began as a small, community-driven shop has evolved into a service-first operation focused on suspension tuning, bike fitting, precision service, and rider education. We work with cyclists at every level — from first-time riders to experienced gravel racers, mountain athletes, and long-distance adventurers — all with the same goal: help people ride farther, feel stronger, and enjoy their bikes more.

We don’t chase volume or trends. We focus on fit, function, and performance. Our work centers on the details that matter most: professional suspension service and tuning, dialed bike fits, wheel builds, custom setups, and maintenance that improves comfort, control, and confidence. Every recommendation is intentional and rooted in long-term rider support — not quick sales.

At Flat Tire Co., bikes are a tool — not the product.
We sell bikes to support service, not to replace it. Our approach includes:

Community, Education & Riding Together

Service doesn’t stop at the workbench. We believe riders learn best on the bike, not just in the shop.

That’s why we host:

  • Weekly group rides for gravel, mountain, and mixed-surface riders

  • Skills sessions and suspension clinics focused on real-world riding

  • Demo and education days that help riders understand setup, maintenance, and equipment choices

  • Adventure and trip-based riding experiences that build confidence and capability

Our community calendar is built around education, progression, and connection — not exclusivity. Whether it’s your first group ride or your fiftieth, you’ll find a supportive environment where learning is encouraged and ego stays at the door.

Year-Round Service Mindset

In 2025, we expanded our service-first approach beyond bikes by adding full ski and snowboard waxing and tuning, allowing us to support our community year-round with the same focus on quality, consistency, and reliability — whether riders are chasing dirt or snow.
